S/V Mistress

Well friends of ours have left for their trip south and anywhere else it might take them.  Teddy and Muriel left Monday about 11:00 am to anchor at Toronto Island for the evening and try and get organized as it seemed everyone was stopping by making it difficult for them to leave.  The next day they sailed 12 hours to get to Colbourg, which they reported they were very tired.  They planned on taking a days rest then push off for the Oswego Canal the next day.  We wish them all the best and are going to try and catch up with them next year after we get Brake Free ready.  Have posted a picture of them departing Port Credit Harbour Marina.

Sea Trial

It has been about three months since we have purchased our new boat and our old boat has been sold.  Artful is still on the hard but soon will be launched this friday with her new owners Bill and Kristina.

The new owners are also going to experience the liveaboard life as we have for the past 6 years.

With the first sail we were very impressed with the performance and speed, while Karin and I sat in the cockpit at the helm we looked into each others eyes and the smile was there, no words had to be spoke as both confirmed our delight of the handling and the performance.

As for our new home there are many projects to be completed before we venture off again, but you can be assured we are gone again and this time much further.
